Since 2010 I am a member of Waldrappteam, an NGO reintroducing the Northern Bald Ibis in central Europe. Here I am coordinating research projects accompanying the human guided migrations.

I received my PhD in Biology (Zoology) at the University of Vienna. Subsequently, I worked as researcher at the CNRS Strasbourg, the Humboldt University at Berlin, and the University of Oxford.
